Plan and organize official meetings
Creating and disseminate materials to provide updated, accurate, and fair information about BCIs. These could include a website, newsletters, and official educational videos. The content could include:
The official stances describes above
Helpful introductory information for specific groups (such as patients, doctors, carers, students, or journalists)
Databases, such as available jobs, lists of companies or universities, conferences and other events, references, and perhaps even downloadable data, signnal processing tools, BCI software, and other tools to help people get started in BCI research
Social and networking tools, such as discussion fora or research blogs.
Brief summaries of major recent papers or events
"Media response" section including official responses to major media stories. This provides a mechanism for counteracting inaccurate stories
