Future BNCI Workshop Washington DC

In 2010, FBNCI co-organized an informal workshop as part of the annual Society for Neuroscience conference, along with other workshops. We helped to coordinate and disseminate another informal workshop at the Society for Neuroscience conference in 2011. In both years, we worked through Dr. Leigh Hochberg, a membr of our Advisory Board who has coordinated such events many times. Both events were funded largely through donations from companies, which allowed for some free food and drink.

This was an informal workshop, unlike most other workshops. There were no speakers or formal discussion groups. Rather, it provided an opportunity for BCI stakeholders to mingle with members of our FBNCI team and Advisory Board to discuss major issues that were addressed in the roadmap, our publications, talks, and elsewhere.
